Pictures Every Day Session I

REGISTER HERE.

Join artist Sebastien Boncy at Visible Records for a two-session workshop on daily photo-art practice.

First session is Sunday, October 2nd
Second session is Sunday, October 9th

Both sessions are 2-4PM.

"In this workshop we will look at art as a practice that prioritizes discovery and healing. A daily, meditative practice of image making that invites the world in with minimal a priori understandings, and that opens doors for the image maker to be affected by the way they are processing the world, by their own photographs.

This workshop will happen in two sessions. The first session consists of a short presentation to the participants that covers my own experiences with daily practice, how to fold such a practice into a life, and looking at some well-known photographers as potential exemplars. This session would also include a discussion portion where the participants can discuss the potential, limits, and ethics of such a practice.  The second session would take place after the participants had had some time to try out their versions of the daily practice. It would be a time to share their experiences, and discuss concerns and possibilities going forward." - Sebastien Boncy

"Any Person I've Robbed Was Judged By Me," a solo exhibition by Sebastien Boncy, opens in the Visible Records gallery with a reception on October 7th, 2022 from 6PM onwards. The show runs until December 2nd, 2022.
