Visible Records houses 22 affordable, semi-private artist studios, ranging from 130 - 312 sqft, in addition to offering communal workspace. The artist studios at Visible Records provide 24/7 access for artists who have complex work schedules. The community of artists at Visible Records have created opportunities for critiques, reading/research groups, and artist collaborations. We prioritize creating space for artists with a fine-arts practice, or otherwise interested in creating and sharing artwork in a professional and conceptual capacity.

Visible Records makes a concerted effort to provide below market value space to working artists. In turn, our ideal studio member is one that will utilize the space well and add their energy to the general working environment. By promoting an active creative culture in the space we hope that our studio artists will be able to organically share conversations, ideas and skillsets, and develop collaboration on artworks, workshops, screenings, etc.

In addition to their studios and workspaces, artists are also able to reserve the large common area at no additional cost. This will allow them space and time to extend their practice to teach, host events, create larger artworks or prepare for exhibitions.

One of the most unique offerings available to members is the ability to to participate in selecting and hosting artists for our Artist in Residency (AiR) program. The AiR program is an invite-only, sponsor-based residency, helping us build more intimate connections and extensive artist networks. Studio members are also granted exclusive access to apply for exhibitions and residencies with regional, partnered galleries.
