Monthly Play Reading Group! Think book club, but for theatre! This is an opportunity for those interested in theatre, discovering new scripts, trying out a bit of light acting, or hearing stories brought to life. All are welcome! 

There will be some scripts printed, but bring along a laptop if possible so that you can access the play online.

Description of this month's play: 

The History Boys by Alan Bennett

The History Boys is a Tony and Olivier Award-winning play, originally performed in 2006. 

"An unruly bunch of bright, funny sixth-form (senior) boys in a British boarding school are, as such boys will be, in pursuit of sex, sport, and a place at a good university – generally in that order. In all their efforts, they are helped and hindered, enlightened and bemused, by a maverick English teacher who seeks to broaden their horizons in sometimes undefined ways, and by a young history teacher who questions the methods, as well as the aim, of their schooling."
