Thee Old Night:

Hailing from Raleigh , led by former Demon Eye frontman Erik Sugg, Erik Sugg & Thee Old Night blend dark Americana, psychedelia, and shadowed folk into haunting, atmospheric songs shaped by acoustic instrumentation, and a simmering sense of unease.

Please Don’t Tell:

Please Don’t Tell is a trio of players with mixed musical backgrounds including classical, goth, and 20’s jazz, among others. These musicians have played venues that range from punk houses to The Kennedy Center. The Charlottesville, VA-based group offer an intriguing, off-kilter mix of bedtime anxieties, folk witchery, and parlor naughtiness from an unnatural concoction of acoustic instrumentation. Yet despite all the old time-y bugaboos creeping under the melodic buoyancy of their songs, there’s nothing particularly retro about the music other than the fact that it could very well have been reproduced centuries earlier—and with nary a missed note. - Corey Gorey

Jordan Perry:

Jordan Perry plays guitar and lives in Charlottesville, Va. His latest collection of solo guitar pieces “Johanna” is now available on Bandcamp. Of the record, guitarist Shane Parish writes: “Johanna is a tender and compelling work of contemporary solo classical guitar. Jordan Perry’s attention to detail and patient sense of formal development convey and empathy and groundedness that reward repeated listens.”
