Death Fest Film Screening & Discussion: Come See Me in the Good Light

Join Us for a Free Screening and Discussion of COME SEE ME IN THE GOOD LIGHT on Friday, May 1. 7:00-9:30pm at Visible Records.

This free community event is brought to you by the Death Fest collaborators at Hospice of the Piedmont, Woven Roots Collective, and Panorama Natural Burial. We will enjoy the film on the big screen (1hr., 45 min.) and then host a moderated discussion (30 min.) about its impact. Bring a friend, a snack, and your curiosity!

Come See Me In The Good Light is the 2025 Oscar Nominated and Sundance Film Festival Favorite Award winning documentary that chronicles American spoken-word poet and activist Andrea Gibson's journey after their terminal ovarian cancer diagnosis. Far from a traditional tragedy, the film, produced by comedian Tig Notaro, captures the epic love story between Andrea and their partner and poet Megan Falley as they navigate the unthinkable with honesty, humor, and an unshakable partnership.
